I have prepared to work with individuals with disabilities my whole life unknowingly. In my early career I designed a hospital to facilitate returning Vietnam Veterans with disabilities. Later in life my husband and I adopted two babies who would have disabilities as they grew up. Before joining ESMW I taught elementary school music for a decade and a half. I believe all these life experiences were in preparation to work with individuals in the ESMW program. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of individuals we serve.
