Community Networking Program
Who We Are
Easterseals Midwest is part of a 100-year-old network of disability service providers. Our services are custom designed in and for the communities we serve. We support more than 5,000 children and adults with disabilities, helping to build a world where all people have equal opportunity to realize their goals, dreams, and aspirations.
We empower each other through trust, collaboration, and accountability. We connect to our community and each other by embracing an inclusive and diverse culture. We innovate our programs and services to meet the needs of our community. We advocate for, and with, the people we support, our team, and our community. We are certain that living out our values every day will change the world.

Jackie
Community Services Instructor
I have been with Easterseals for six months and I absolutely love it! Getting to know staff, individuals, and their families has been amazing. In my free time, I enjoy working on the hobby farm, spending time with my children (son Brock and daughter Kinsley) and being outdoors as much as possible. I am so excited to see what the future holds!

Shawnee
Community Services Instructor
I have prepared to work with individuals with disabilities my whole life, unknowingly. In my early career, I designed a hospital to facilitate returning Vietnam veterans with disabilities. Later in life my husband and I adopted two babies who would have disabilities as they grew up. Before joining ESMW, I taught elementary school music for a decade and a half. I believe all these life experiences were in preparation to work with individuals in the ESMW program. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
